White Day Creek runs between the borders of Marion and Monongalia counties in north central West Virginia.

Our Mission Statement

Who we are:

We are property owners, farmers, residents  and recreational users of White Day Creek and surrounding areas. It has been and remains an essential part of our lives. We feel it should be saved as a legacy.

Our Purpose:

To maintain and protect White Day Creek and its watershed. We feel this watershed is unique: its tributaries, farmland, forest, people, and surrounding communities are very special.

Our Concerns:

That those who choose to remove natural resources, construct transmission lines or pipe lines, or otherwise disturb the natural surroundings will damage the ecosystem beyond repair. All or any of these activities require access roads and  rights of way which in turn require the removal of vegetation and natural surroundings.

Our Plan:

  • To insure that landowners are aware of the possible impacts before they sign contracts or leases.
  • To educate the general public, specifically about the Frac-Well drilling process and its consquences.
  • To monitor water quality, and access any damages resulting from the drillng process, site construction or other related activities.
  • We will hold responsible for their actions those who harm our environment, and will take every legal option available to insure that developers comply with Federal and State regulations.

We meet the 3rd. Thursday of each month at the Bunners Ridge Fire Dept. at       7:00 PM.
